Privacy Policy

• Page views and clicks. Standard server logs and aggregate web analytics. We use this to understand which lists are useful and which need work. We don't sell or share this with advertisers.
• Newsletter email. Only if you give it to us. Used only to send the deal-alert newsletter you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• First-party cookies. Used for small things like remembering your filter preferences on the deals page. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

• Account passwords — we don't have user accounts.
• Payment information — purchases happen on the retailer's site, not ours.
• Personal data we don't actually need to run the site.

Links to products go to retailers (mostly Amazon) with affiliate tags. If you buy something through one of these links, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. The retailer's site has its own privacy policy and tracking; once you click through, you're on their site under their rules — we don't share data with them beyond the click itself.

Rankings are not influenced by commission rates. We've turned down higher-paying referral programs when the products didn't meet our editorial bar.

• EU / UK (GDPR): you can request what data we hold and ask us to delete it. Email team@bestguidepick.com.
• California (CCPA / CPRA): same — you can request, correct, or delete the data we hold about you.
• Cookies: you can clear or block them in your browser; the site still works without them.

BestGuidePick is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, please email us and we'll delete it.

We'll update the "Last updated" date above when this policy changes. Material changes (anything affecting what we collect or who we share with) will be flagged on the homepage for at least 14 days.
