DMCA / Copyright Notice
Last updated: June 2026
BestGuidePick respects the intellectual property of others and expects its users to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on this site in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, follow the process below. We take these matters seriously and will respond promptly.
Reporting copyright infringement
Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512(c), a copyright owner or their authorized agent may submit a takedown notice to a service provider when they believe copyrighted material is being used without permission.
To file a notice with BestGuidePick, send an email to team@bestguidepick.com with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work. Describe the original work you believe has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material. Tell us exactly where on BestGuidePick the material appears — include the full URL or enough detail for us to locate it quickly.
- Your contact information. Name, mailing address, phone number, and email address so we (or the alleged infringer) can reach you.
- A statement of good faith. A declaration that you believe, in good faith, that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
- A statement of accuracy. A declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
Once we receive a valid notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, typically within 2 business days.
- Make a reasonable attempt to notify the person who posted or contributed the material.
- Take reasonable steps to promptly notify the subscriber that we have removed or disabled access to the material.
Repeat infringers — accounts or individuals who are the subject of multiple valid takedown notices — may have their access to the site permanently terminated.
Counter-notice
If you believe your material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. To do so, email team@bestguidepick.com with:
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it previously appeared.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or the district where BestGuidePick is located, if outside the US).
- Your physical or electronic signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the removed material within 10–14 business days, unless the complainant files a court action against you.
